Why It Matters

As a student activist, I got enrolled in the Young Men Initiative for prevention of GBV program, by being offered to be a young men team leader back in 2006. Since then, I have been building knowledge and skills in working on engaging young men in prevention of violence and promotion of gender equality. Working with young men provides opportunity to improve the global health and create a better, more just world. This is why I am currently doing my PHD in the area of men, masculinities and health, and am running a NGO working with young men, called Status M, in Zagreb, Croatia, a proud member of MenEngage network.
