Sri Lanka
MenEngage Alliance Sri Lanka was launched in 2014 and currently has a membership of 68 organizations and 50 individuals.
MenEngage Sri Lanka’s members are active in the Northern, Eastern and central parts of the country as well as Uva Province. The network is governed by a Steering Committee consisting of 3 members appointed by the membership.
Priorities for MenEngage Sri Lanka are expanding and strengthening membership, supporting the implementation of the National Plan of Action on addressing Sexual and Gender-based Violence, building strategic partnerships, knowledge management and communications, capacity building of members on masculinities, youth engagement, engaging men and boys in Sexual and Reproductive Health and rights (SRHR) and influencing policy on male engagement.
