Journal for Girls’ Empowerment
Recognizing the need for addressing systemic gender inequality, this journal starts by explicitly calling for girl’s empowerment. By challenging harmful gender norms, and taking a gender transformative approach, the journal provides a two-year empowerment plan. By providing support in navigating the inner and outer changes of teenage years, this journal seeks to ensure that girls have ample access to resources and opportunities as they grow up.
Journal for Boys’ Self-discovery
This is a journal for boys to navigate the societal expectations of being a man and to dig deep into their feelings and fears, which often go unexplored. Spanning two years, this journal is designed for boys at the start of their teenage years. With lessons, insights, and reflections, it serves as a self-discovery guide to nurture healthy self-esteem and develop an understanding of peer pressures. While promoting personal and relational growth, boys are invited to recognize how being male benefits them in a patriarchal society, question and reject harmful gender norms, and embrace care towards themselves and those around them.
