Sonke Gender Justice and MenEngage Africa convened a three-day in-depth workshop on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, bringing together sixteen religious and traditional leaders in Entebbe, Uganda.
Supported by NORAD and in partnership with MenEngage Uganda and the Straight Talk Foundation, this workshop was held as part of the SRHR4ALL programme.
It aimed to empower faith and traditional leaders to transform gender norms and increase access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) services in their communities.
Through participatory sessions and strategic partnerships, the workshop tackled key issues, including gender-based violence, safe abortion, and comprehensive sexuality education.
Watch takeaways from religious and cultural leaders who were part of the workshops.
