On Friday 15 June, The Stop Rape in Conflict Campaign issued a press release supporting Fatou Bensouda in her new role as the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
To Support Fatou and ensure she has a strong mandate to support justice for survivors of rape & gender violence, the campaign encourages all members to write to their Head of State to ask that:
- their country ratify the Rome Statute and join the ICC, or
- their country contribute to the UN Trust Fund for Victims earmarked pool for victims of sexual and/or gender-based violence
