Backlash

On March 13, 2024, 29 leaders from civil society and donor communities met during CSW68 for a strategic dialogue. With shared expertise in women’s, LGBTIQ+, climate, and social justice, the group focused on countering the rising patriarchal and anti-rights backlash. This marked the first meeting of the Men, Masculinities, and Countering Backlash Collective.
