Rwanda hosts 3rd Global Symposium

The 3rd MenEngage Global Symposium – the Ubuntu Symposium – is bringing together thousands of individuals and organizations around the world. The symposium is about coming together to improve the impact and accountability of our shared work for gender justice and women’s rights.

By coming together from across regions, cultures, backgrounds, and languages, we aspire to help make ‘men and masculinities’ work more effective and accountable for women’s rights, LGBTQI rights, racial justice, economic justice, climate justice, and other social justice issues.

The symposium began with an Opening Event in Kigali, Rwanda in November 2020 with local hosts, Rwanda MenEngage Network and Rwanda Men’s Resource Centre. This global mobilization is continuing with a weekly program of online events until June 2021.

You do not need to be a member of MenEngage Alliance to get involved with the MenEngage Ubuntu Symposium. You can watch past session recordings at the MenEngage YouTube Channel.

See the latest Agenda information on the symposium website to register for sessions.
