An in-depth look at how climate change is gendered in both its causes and impacts.

This paper shares how norms and ideas around being a man are part of the story of climate change. It goes on to look at how to engage men and boys as part of the solution.

This discussion paper is a useful starting point to explore the links between men, masculinities and climate change. Moreover, it can help you identify ways forward to engage men and boys as agents of change for climate justice for all.

The paper builds upon the work that feminist activists have contributed to the climate debate. For instance, intersectional feminism has shown how the impacts of climate change are unequal and unfair.

The climate emergency is closely tied to patriarchy. This paper therefore aims to be a useful starting point for anyone looking to disrupt and dismantle patriarchy as part of the work for climate justice.
