At MenEngage, we have long been working on and speaking out about the rise of the manosphere, backlash against gender equality, and the misogynistic radicalisation of boys and young men. In recent years, this knowledge has become increasingly in demand — highlighted not least by the growing public debate and cultural moments such as Adolescence, which have brought renewed attention to how particularly young men are being influenced online.
MoveMen’s toolkit responds to this reality by offering practical guidance for how to engage adolescents in conversations about the mano- and femosphere. It brings together insights, methods, and concrete exercises designed to help practitioners navigate these often challenging discussions and support young people in making sense of what they encounter online.
At MenEngage, we understand the manosphere as a structural issue — shaped by gender norms, social inequalities, and digital ecosystems that amplify harmful narratives — and we work both at this systemic level and directly with boys and young men in practice. Drawing on this combined experience, we see the importance of approaches that connect structural analysis with everyday engagement. MoveMen’s toolkit reflects this well: it offers tangible tools to start conversations, build trust, and engage adolescents who are navigating — or already immersed in — the mano- and femosphere.
By combining structural understanding with hands-on methods, this webinar invites participants to explore how we can move from concern to practice — supporting young people to reflect critically, while opening up healthier, more equal and inclusive pathways forward.
