The Members’ Assembly is our opportunity to come together as a global community. Whether you are involved in a national network, active in regional or global events, or simply want to know more about what it means to be part of the MenEngage community, we hope you can join us online.
In a time of profound global uncertainty, MenEngage Alliance has an opportunity to contribute to and model the change we wish to see. With a focus on strengthening collaboration across the Alliance, the assembly is an opportunity to learn from each other and engage in conversations that can strengthen our collective work and impact.
This is an online event. You can register here.
Who can participate?
The annual Global Members’ Assembly is open to all members of MenEngage Alliance around the world. That includes members of national networks, regional networks, plus members from regions where there is no network structure.
If you are a member, we invite you to register now. After registering, please allow time for your registration to be confirmed by the organisers. Once that is completed, you will receive a confirmation and the link to join this online event.
Schedule
- Day 1
Responding to Backlash – Regional Perspectives and Network Resilience
Plenary session to ground our shared understanding of the current situation and highlight how different regions respond from the specific lens of working with men and masculinities. This session will serve as both a moment of reflection and an invitation to collective action and learning. Followed by a collective grounding moment and a Q&A.
- Day 2
Collaboration across membership and networks
An interactive session with members and network leaders to explore how we can work more collaboratively across all levels of the Alliance—regionally, nationally, and cross-regionally. This will be followed by a plenary discussion focused on translating reflections and ideas into realistic, actionable steps for building and strengthening collaboration across the network.
- Day 3
Reflecting Forward: Envisioning our future
We will hear from the Global Working Groups on how they practice collaboration across various levels of the Alliance. We will reflect on and recap our aspirations as a global community. What does it mean to be a global alliance, and how do we all come together under this umbrella term? This will be followed by an interactive open space to pause, reflect, and engage in conversations we may not have had the chance to explore yet.
