This is the third and final session in our series on masculinities and climate justice (Session 1 & Session 2).

Building on what we’ve learned about the roots of ecological harm and the realities of engaging men and boys on the ground, this session asks: how do we organize together across movements?

Panelists will explore how the masculinities and climate justice space can build genuine, accountable coalitions with feminist, Indigenous, labor, and other social movements. We are also deeply interested in the materiality of our conditions, that is, how we can continue to fund the work that is being done. This is a session about solidarity, strategy, and the future we’re building together.

As always, we will also discuss the question of what does engaging with men and boys as agents of change, allies, and beneficiaries of gender justice mean in practice — and why it matters.

Passionate about exploring the intersections of masculinities with queerness, caste, climate and more, Niharika engages with these themes through practice and through writing as a medium for reflection and advocacy.
